Ready to signup? Here is all the information you need to sign up and make your deposit, so we can bring your dream trip to reality.
We accept credit cards for both tour deposits and tour balance payments… easy and secure!
Pay your tour deposit of $500 per person by credit card or check (all prices are US dollars). You can mail a check, fill in your credit card details on the printed reservation form, call us with your credit card details, or use the button below to pay with credit card.
This payment option will charge your deposits automatically, so please check with us first about availability. Credit card payments are processed through a secure server and are the quickest, easiest way to reserve your spot for your tour. If you need to pay your tour balance or make other payments, please see the “Pay tour balance” section below.
To reserve your tour by mail, make checks payable to Rubicon Outdoors, and send completed reservation forms and check to:
329 S. Montezuma
Prescott, AZ 86303
Email: [email protected]
After your deposit and reservation form are received, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation and a statement of your remaining balance and due date. Full payment is due 90 days before the start of your tour, and can be paid by check or credit card. Charges will appear as Alpinehikers, our partner company. You will also receive more detailed information on the trip, a list of suggested clothing and equipment, and directions for joining the tour.
Now that you’ve signed up for your trip, you will want to consider travel insurance. Although we do not require insurance, to protect your investment in the event you need to cancel your tour, trip cancellation and travel insurance is highly recommended. Every year, 5-10% of our clients end up cancelling for a variety of reasons, and many costs are not recoverable. Please see our cancellation policy. Travel insurance is affordable, and a smart addition to your tour.
Buy trip insurance within 15 days of paying your deposit for extra coverage, including the option to buy “cancel for any reason” coverage.
Paying Tour Balance: Your tour balance is due 90 days before your tour starts. Use the button below to charge to your credit card for tour balances, railpasses, or other miscellaneous payments. Change the quantity to reflect the dollar amount you will be paying.
You can pay your tour balance by credit card, wire or check. Mail a check to our Arizona address, or contact us for wire directions.
Departure night: Some of you may wish to spend a night in your departure city before flying home the next day. Ask us about adding a night in Prescott, Phoenix, or St. George to your tour. We have comfortable and convenient hotels each city. We can also help with local shuttle services if you have additional travel plans before or after your tour.
Travel Agent: For flights and knowledgeable help with pre- and post-tour plans, contact Yves or Monika at www.avenuesoftheworld.com. They are from Switzerland, based in Flagstaff, with years of experience in the travel industry. Tell them you’ll be taking a Rubicon Outdoors tour, and they can help fill out the rest of your trip.
Gear up: You can find links to online stores for hiking gear, plane tickets, suggested books, insurance and more on our Travel Gear page.
Pretrip info: You will receive a pretrip information packet for your tour, but you can also view our general pretrip packet online here.
Thank you for your reservation, and we look forward to meeting you soon!
